Sync.com vs. WeTransfer

Sync.com is well suited for all organizations who want to both store & share files in the cloud. Sync.com is only good when dealing with a single account at a time. This means all projects need to reside on a single Sync.com location since there's no app solution currently available to monitor more than one cloud storage location.

I would definitely recommend WeTransfer - especially the paid version. I feel like all of the shortcomings with the free service (file size limit & content deletion after 7 days) are all fixed when you upgrade your account, and the service is not very expensive. It only costs $12/monthly or $120/annually. WeTransfer makes it so easy to send files, and the additional features such as creating a link to your content & password protection are great. Very straightforward & easy to use.

WeTransfer is extremely reliable 99% of the time. There has been twice in 4 years that their service was unavailable due to server outage for several hours.

I've only reached out to WeTransfer support once, but they were prompt, courteous, and answered my question. I assume that future interactions would be the same, I'm looking forward to being a long term customer.

Sync does an excellent job stacking up against the competitors. Like the others, Sync.com has an app that helps monitor files uploaded or downloaded into the cloud. Sync.com offers a free account that has a capacity of 6GB which is more than many of the other competitors. With security and version history, Sync.com is the software program to beat.

I did not choose to use Image Relay, the client did. I really like Image Relay and the fact that you can organize files in different folders, but not the fact that you have to create an account, have access to all the files and folders, and remind passwords. With WeTransfer skipping all these requirements, it is way easier and faster.

• Sync.com has major ROI in not having to invest in more storage space on premise.
• Files on Sync.com are all secure and are backed up so we don't need to spend the time doing backups.
• Sync.com does an excellent job of allowing us to share files with others by just entering their email address.

• I can work faster since it's easy to use and reliable. Some other file transfer platforms have failed me and are too complex to manage.
• I keep my clients happy - never have they had any issues with a transfer.
• It is not an exclusive use platform, so I can use it with everyone - even new clients.
