StarWind SAN & NAS vs. SUSE Enterprise Storage (discontinued)

For companies wanting a lean 2 node HC cluster Starwind VSAN is the way to go. Performance, ease of setup, reliability, and management are very good. However, If companies have more than 2 node-setups Starwind isn't the best option as it only does mirrors. Having more than 2 nodes essentially means wasting 2/3 of storage capacity. If StarWind can add distributed raids in future releases that would be perfect

This is the most powerful platform that administers all our storage capacity. It has great server that distributes data from various sources to each department. It has secure database that cannot be easily compromised by unauthorised access. Data backup has given us more trust with this product since we can focus on more productive tasks. The customer support is reliable and can easily be reached when there is arising performance challenge.

Overall the combination is really doing great and helping the business to perform smoothly. The main reason behind selecting StarWind is, It's budget-friendly, has good support and it's great product functionalities.

My experience with SUSE Enterprise Storage has been great. I have not come across any powerful platform that is more reliable in data storage and backup than this software. It has great servers that monitors data across our enterprise. Data transfer from one department to other is well monitored and the network paths are always secure. Licensing and maintenance of the available plans does not incur added cost that can affect operations in our company.

• Even though we have had one host disk failure on one of the cluster nodes, there was no interruption to our users. The server was repaired and the StarWind SAN & NAS made the transition very simple.
• There has been zero downtime since the StarWind SAN & NAS was implemented.,
