Equalweb vs. All in One Accessibility

This software did not work for us in a medium-sized digital marketing agency setting. Perhaps a direct end-user, like a one-site manager, would be able to make use of it better than we could in our setting.

Visitors with visual impairments, motor disabilities, or cognitive challenges benefit from features like screen readers, contrast adjustments, and keyboard navigation. The widget’s simple installation allowed us to make our website more accessible without extensive development work.

• The magnify feature for people who are near-sighted is particularly helpful for website visitors.
• Equalweb tracks activations of accessibility tools on all our sites from a centralized dashboard so we can get a clear view of the data.
• The customization option of the accessibility icon is useful so we can match the color scheme of the site.

I would rate All in One Accessibility's overall usability as a 9 out of 10. At Vico, we found the installation process to be quick, making it easy to configure accessibility features without needing extensive technical expertise. The tool's simplicity allowed us to quickly improve our website's accessibility compliance, enhancing the user experience for a broader audience. The only slight drawback is that for custom accessibility and full remediation needs, additional manual tweaks may occasionally be required, which prevented a perfect score. Overall, its efficiency and ease-of-use significantly contribute to our digital strategy.

UserWay has a free version as well, and a WordPress plugin. However, they are much more expensive and did not seem to offer the same level of value as Equalweb.

• It is an effective website accessibility tool through an extremely simple and cost-effective process. It helps scan the entire website for potential issues that hinder accessibility, breach risks, etc., for our business.
• Provides an intuitive, unique and perfect experience for everyone.
• Our organization has been working for years with the disability community thanks to the color adjustment features that help users with visual impairments, such as color blindness or other visual problems, to create a solution that really benefits them.
