Integration with Corporate Performance Management (CPM) systems
It is a very good software for securing your enterprise software. It helps you keep the access secure. It integrates over 100 applications. It monitors all user activity permissions and data security control all over our applications from one panel. PathLock can automate all user access reviews and can identify all sensitive data access to produce complaint reporting for SOX, CCPA, GDPR, and many more regulations. There is a high degree of automation in the software.
ServiceNow is well suited for company wide messages as they pertain to trainings or information that affect all employees. A scenario where the system has been less appreciated is a mass message that confuses a variety of business units within our company who were not assigned a specific training or the change/message does not affect their day to day.
ServiceNow GRC is easily configurable. It does not require an extremely large team to support a decent size company.
While out of the box it does not deliver functionality offered by other GRC competitors, it can easily be designed. And by giving you the ability to design, you can make it fit your program with relative ease.
Cost benefit if ServiceNow is already leveraged within the environment. Deploying GRC capabilities comes at the cost of extra licenses.
Delivering more out of the box functionality that rivals other GRC platforms. The bare bones approach may not help companies that do not have expertise or capabilities to build effective GRC processes.
Easier way to implement workflow.
Offering better metrics without buying add-on tools.
I'm satisfied with our experience. The configuration was the biggest challenge, but we have moved onto the stage of user training and usability. We would appreciate having better user training documentation and possibly videos and/or computer-based training to help our international users adopt this software for their GRC needs.
It's a good system, but I am awaiting key features in the new release. We hear that ServiceNow is continually adding new features and we look for improved reporting, better Oracle Integration, and user training opportunities. To the extent these materialize, we expect further improvements in our experience with ServiceNow GRC. Until that time, though, we believe we are meeting our objectives expected at the beginning of this project.
We performed these assessments manually for years before selecting ServiceNow GRC. Other companies we assessed were Modulo and Metric Stream. Our takeaway from the other companies was that they seemed too simplistic to handle the needs of an Oracle EBS R12 ERP and our other systems. Further, we liked the reporting elements that came out of the box from ServiceNow.
Mostly cultural change. If teams aren't aware of the new implementation of GRC and they get a request to answer questions, it can be confusing. This is cultural and not a con against the product.
