Outlaw vs. SpotDraft

Well suited to template led document creation - where multiple non legal users can create contracts that are locked down and secure from error. Because it is a niche platform it can be tough to persuade users outside our business to use collaboration features. Often we have to export and revert to using MS word for red-lining/track changes.

The best place to use SpotDraft is on contract negotiation. The entire life cycle of a contract negotiation is captured well on SpotDraft. Data is also crunched and displayed in dashboards. We get to prepare better first drafts of contracts when we know of areas which get heavily negotiated on.

• Ability to access fully executed documents more easily (the different version histories results in the wrong version being downloaded a lot).
• Notifications for when a contract is fully executed if you aren't the signee but do need to be notified.

Great user interface and great training and support by the Outlaw team. Whenever we had a question, they were always available to help. Loading templates made the contract process so much quicker and required less approval's from our leadership team, which makes it easier for everyone to do their jobs

• Faster contract process. Our process is smoother and faster then it ever was before.
