The beauty is that you don't have to own the entire cloud suite to take advantage of these cloud products. The products are developing and evolving rapidly.

• UI - Needs a definite update. Tool can do wonders if UI is intuitive.
• Excel based data doesn't upload easily.
• No open APIs, integration is not possible with other tools.
• Extra charges for a module for integration.

I have never used anything other than Oracle SCM Cloud, so I am not sure about similar products in the market. Having said that, I still feel that it is definitely a value-added product for any manufacturing organization. It is cloud-based so it can be integrated with any modern other cloud-based systems if we have the middleware.
