Oracle FLEXCUBE is fantastic in almost all areas of banking from retail banking to corporate banking to Islamic banking. The technology stack it runs on is also brilliant however it will be of great help if the installation process is simplified to reduce the time to market during implementation. Also with regards to integrations, there should be more materials readily available for the non-standard integrations like the process of clearing files from ATM/POS

SAP [needs] a UI upgrade soon - it is getting difficult to operate, especially when huge transactions are involved. SAP's mobile application however gives easy access to data and we can address and search it when needed. This also helps to provide appropriate information to customers and I can update the transaction details on the go.

  • It is utterly non-intuitive and not user-friendly for the front-end user. This applies to v.11.
  • Customization, though reliable, is costly.
  • Millennials have a hard time to adapt to it given that they are used to the intuitive app world.

Implementation support being done by an Oracle partner with less care than Oracle's resource. Most of the resources from the partner are weak in knowledge and we need a longer time to resolve fixes.
