OpenText Portal vs. Sidekick

• It completely depends on the version to work with and the approach. However, it provides a catalog of useful properties and tools for web development and portals.

• Also for document management it is a great option, since the management, control and management of these is quite useful.As a technical use, it is a great tool for the management, handling, coordination and synergy of projects.

If you are a professional agency that requires access to a ton of Saas applications like email, accounting, CRM, websites, etc, then this browser (Sidekick) application is the ticket for you. If you like a ton of features for free, this is not for you. I feel It is breaking my bank account. :(

• Exceptional handling of data and documents.
• Intuitive and simple management of the portal.
• Integration of third-party applications such as Sharepoint.
• Great customer service and support.

• Makes it easy to find and hide applications
• Makes it easy to focus on productive work
• It is easy to configure
• It has tons of features to make online work productive

• Construction of components as templates for end users.
• From my experience, despite being intuitive, the learning process can be slow.
• I feel it is not the best value for money option.
• In my opinion, despite the integrations being great tools, they haven't been perfected.

• Group applications on the left side of the part (like categories on the bar)
• Make it hard to close a tab when on a session (warn with a "did you mean to do that?")
• Be able to save the session while live.
• Protect all tabs within a saved session without making them little tabs.

When comparing these two, Sidekick was way easier to use and configure. I got confused immediately when trying to set up workspaces in VIVALDI. Sidekick reminded me of ClickUp and was set up within the hour.

• Reduction of time in the management of files and information.
• In complement with trained personnel, reduction of time in the creation of portals and information centers.
• Greater visibility of the data that is available and must be managed.
