Netskope CASB vs. Oracle CASB (discontinued)

The Netskope CASB solution is well-suited for any company due to the proliferation of SaaS applications. With the agent being installed on endpoints, the product is well suited for remote work environments where a managed corporate network may not be available. The agent allows visibility and controls to be applied to any networks the devices connect to.

Our essential cloud data and infrastructure are protected by Oracle CASB Cloud Service. Oracle CASB Cloud Service is the industry standard for cloud security. They've put in enough time and effort to be able to provide services that rival the best in the business. This program comes highly recommended by me. However, even if it's evident because that's its primary function, it's so satisfying as an administrator in my image to have the security point in control, as that implies that my processes are simple and sensitive data is safe.

• With Oracle CASB Cloud Service, it is feasible to cover both Oracle ERP and Microsoft products.
• Employees should be audited and actively monitored for any signs of wrongdoing.
• This technology is necessary since we save all of our data on the cloud.

• Public IP for user can be from different country then it came from
• Sometimes you can't get anywhere with Netscope ON
• Location is the key for speed so users complain for speed of 'internet'
• Some location blocks Netscope IP ranges

• The 3rd party apps could be handled more simply.
• Notifications may be a distraction, especially if they're sent loudly when you're trying to concentrate on your task.
• I think it's difficult to grasp at first.

Ease of deployment and strong security solution.

Wide knowledge base and learning tutorials available for customer as well as partners.

Multiple use case be it only governing, data security or protection against threat can be catered and customized depending on objective organization wants to achieve. Talented pool of TAC team to reach out and resolve the concerns.

There have been some struggles with their infrastructure keeping pace with demand and load. Support can only do so much and has to defer to known problems being escalated.

I find that Netskope CASB provides a larger catalog of SaaS applications and provides additional security controls for each app, allowing granularity to what actions end users can perform on the sites. This goes beyond simple block download/block upload, making it highly effective at enforcing the actions outlined in corporate policies.

Take into account that security is essential in any organization, but more so when you're in control and need to ensure that everything is running smoothly. A good place to start looking for framework security would be Oracle CASB Cloud Service.
