Mirakl Marketplace Platform vs. RangeMe

If you have a successful webstore with high traffic it could make sense to think about in expanding the business to other vendors by creating a marketplace (just like amazon). You'll charge a commission on the products sold in your website by other vendors, and that way you'll have a wide range of products to offer to your users. To do this, Mirakl is the software to use.

RangeMe is well suited for folks who are willing to spend the time to perfect their listings and use the platform efficiently. It is not a 'set it and forget it' platform. Listen to the RangeMe Account Manage and don't be afraid to ask for advice, or for extra 'connection' allowances. On top of using RangeMe, it would help to research the buyers and their companies, too

• Good API integration, easy to integrate
• Almost complete seller platform providing all the basic features of a Marketplace and a few advanced ones
• Good level of support of the team
• Good level of product upgrades

• Their management to start with (not kidding!)
• Cost of Mirakl can be dramatic

• I did not know ECRM was a partner service that worked hand-in-hand with RangeMe

In 2013, when we evaluated Mirakl, we didn't find any other solution that was ready to go to market which could be compared.

I've gone direct to retailers. Much cheaper and you build the relationship from the ground up. In my opinion, RangeMe is an aggressive sales platform and they're the only ones to benefit by essentially promising lots and delivering incredibly little.

• Decreased Sales Margin.

• We have pitched to 4 Large Retailers and been accepted by all of them.
• Some buyers tell you exactly what they are looking for and give you the opportunity to deliver a product to meet that need.
• Retail advice received along the many steps taken along this journey has been invaluable.
