When utilizing a Lookalike audience based off a client's Current Customer list, Meta Business Manager does a great job in identifying who our ICP is. Pair that that CAPI and the platform is nearly fool proof. We have generated some of the highest pipeline through Meta Business Manager when done correctly, and the channel has great potential. We find that Lead Generation with Mid-funnel content drives more pipeline than direct response or Demo offers. Webinars and On-Demand webinars perform well on Meta Business Manager as well.

I have a fairly straightforward use case for Sendible and it meets almost all of my needs. If you are a small company that needs a collaborative solution to social media content creation, and likely has a small team (or no team) to manage social media postings, I think Sendible is likely a great tool to schedule posts and largely automate social media marketing. A larger company or more involved marketing team could still use Sendible to schedule and collaborate on posts. However, there may be additional features they may want or need (like the ability to promote posts) that may not be available with Sendible.

Pros

  • Pages Manager gives you a insights into how content is performing, including paid content, in terms of reach and engagement.

  • Content Calendar. It is easy to filter channels to get an overall look at what content is to post for any given channel.
  • Customer Support. They are quick to respond/alert when something is down or if you need assistance with anything regarding their product.
  • Organization. It is very easy to find what you are looking for. If there was a post that didn't go up, there is a place to find it and report it. If there was a task assigned to me, I know exactly where to go to complete it.

Cons
  • The only thing I have noticed is when on my device, it calls out a list of names that have shared your post, and it only shows one. On the computer it will let you scroll down and see all of them.

  • I would love to see more services available to add as I'm constantly adding new customers.
  • It would be great and very useful if they had a clickable calendar to view which dates are already booked with posts for a quick reference while scheduling new posts.

If I am given a larger budget to work with then I'd like a program that tracks and collects my PR hits, as well as sends me important info to respond to. I realy like the way New Brand Analytics tracks my Trip Advisor, etc ratings

Usability
The UI is easy and intuitive for any beginner, but it also has a lot of depth for more advanced users. There have been very few cases where I could not do something I wanted to do regarding media buying. However, there are big limitations regarding account management, admin settings, and user appeals.

The reporting can be a little clunky, and the uploading of files while straight forward is a little clunky too as far as just a simple drag/drop. However, the rest of the platform works great. The RSS feed feature is fantastic to curate content, and the calendar is easy to use to get the scheduling process started. Overall this platform is straightforward, easy to use and a great alternative to the wallet theives of the industry

Support Rating
Facebook is notoriously difficult to access for help and FBM is no exception. Only the chat feature will get someone in touch with you and then there is very limited help. The most they do is send links from their 'help section' without really offering much help at all. Business owners and directors need a person on the phone that can understand the problem and help fix it, not 'helpful links that have already been tried.

Sendible has a great resource center which I have used multiple times throughout my year using the platform. There are plenty of troubleshooting articles and guides that make it easy to uncover the root of any small issues I may have.

Alternatives Considered
When it comes to B2C marketing, we don't see any alternative as present in India to Meta Business Manager. However, we use youtube Ads to an extent yet we will stack Meta Business Manager higher. When it comes to B2B marketing, we feel Meta Business Manager lacks a bit and we go for more specific targetting via LinkedIn Ads and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Also, for inbound lead generation we use Google Search Ads.

Sendible integrates with almost every social media platform and upon request they can even add a channel for you that is not currently integrated, an offer you can not get elsewhere. If your business is focused on selling more, increasing website traffic or expanding the audience then Sendible is worth trying.

Return on Investment
  • Meta Business Manager allows us to see all of our content posted to Instagram and Facebook in one place, which is valuable for basic-level engagement fluctuation data.
  • Meta Business Manager doesn't really have tools to measure overall performance against ourselves or similar institutions, so even with years of content "banked" in its history, we still have to rely on outside tracking to determine our benchmarks.
  • Facebook is still the primary place for our older audience to engage with our institution, so it's nice to be able to do most of our posting on Instagram where our primary audience is and carry over only what is relevant to Facebook through Meta Business Manager.

  • It helps my business, to manage my clients social media.
  • However I was hoping to capture more people who want to use the tool as DIY which has not happened.
  • I do not want to let it go but it is currently more of an expense then bringing in a return.
