Masergy vs. SentinelOne Vigilance

I have used Masergy across a few different jobs, spanning over a decade and they have always come through with what they promised the solution has always had rock-solid stability and the team has always been present to address my questions and concerns.

Suitable for any company/client that is willing to spend the appropriate amount to support an SOC service.

• Reliable - I don't receive many direct phone calls, but when I do I can be sure they'll pop up on my screen.
• Ease of use - Very easy to make and receive calls.
• Convenient - I can listen to and save my voicemails straight from the app.

• AI/ML based detection engine has not missed a single known threat since installed
• [SentinelOne] Vigilance makes clear notes and does a great job at weeding out false positives
• Easy to use online console works on any connection
• Integration with out Okta SSO MFA and Identity cloud

• Clunky UI in some areas - Settings for example. You have to drop down boxes to get to your audio settings. This is time consuming while trying to fix your audio devices.
• No easy way to switch audio devices.
• No 'universal' text box to type a number in to dial. You have to click a tab. I sometimes type the number in the 'What's on your mind' box accidentally.

• [SentinelOne] Vigilance notes are captured in each event which is near impossible to review with low staff. Better reporting on activities would help demonstrate better the activity ongoing
• Ability to extract notes and incidents to our SIEM would be great
• A customer success manager would be a nice addition

There is a learning curve to understand and analyse detections, but that is to be expected for a versatile endpoint detection and response tool.

I have worked with Masergy for many years and what really keeps me as a customer is their fantastic partnership. SentinelOne Vigilance was as good or better than each of the products we also have used in this product range. We chose SentinelOne Vigilance for many of our clients based on the supported integrations with our other toolsets.

• Ability to use one number for multiple devices is great!
• You can shield your personal cell phone - great for personal device use companies.
