We do an extraordinary number of work orders for assembly builds, and overall this has worked very well. We also have a rapidly growing e-commerce driven pick and pack operation, which would not have been possible in our prior environment.

It's well-suited for companies of a smaller size that want to easily manage their shipping needs. When you are working in a small team environment you often are tasked with "wearing multiple hats", that's when a shipping software like ShipMonk comes in handy. People can collaborate and work on the same task at the same time.

Alternatives Considered
Korber Warehouse Edge (formerly HighJump / AccellosOne) is a warehouse management software with one purpose. It does what it should. Sage X3 is a ERP system that integrates shipping but misses some of the warehouse management components.

ShipMonk often offers better pricing and user interface which stacks up really well against their similar competitors. As a small business, you often look for all kinds of ways to help your company save money where it can, and when you can do that in one of the most costly departments (shipping) it's an easy choice to make.
