iRise (discontinued) vs. ProtoPie

I would say it is less appropriate in situations where the ask is relatively simple and easy to deploy. In that case, I would not waste any time mocking it up in iRise and instead I would have the developers start right away. In projects where there is less complexity I find less of a need for iRise.

I will definitely recommend ProtoPie as it is free in the market and provides a number of features to design a prototype. For starters, I will surely tell you to go and try it . If you are a web developer or App developer then ProtoPie is a good option to give a try for creating prototypes.

The iRise document can use used by both business and IT stakeholders. With a business team, it makes it easier to finalize the requirements. For the IT or development team, it makes it easier to understand the screen requirements for development.

Axure is very similar to irise. but I am not sure why I prefer irise more. I like the back blank screen on irise.

Figma is pretty much similar to ProtoPie. But it is paid tool whereas ProtoPie is free which competes with Figma on features and easiness. Figma is more of UI designing prespective tool whereas ProtoPie can be used even by starters due to its simple UI and navigation.
