The entire deployment and configuration stage was easy and it was accessible across the organization in a matter of days. Oracle Analytics Server being a cloud-based solution helped right from Input of Bulk Data to Info preparation, Data cleaning, and finally Data Modeling. Everything was visual and the Help Wizard was very intuitive.

• Slingshot has a very friendly and easy-to-use interface while at the same time being packed with useful features. I am able to collaborate fast and in context of projects and tasks, as well as find any file easily. Files and documents are pinned directly in the collaboration app, no matter the size, so everyone involved has visibility and the most recent update. The Inbox feature keeps me in the loop with everything I am involved in – my mentions, my messages, my organization updates.

Scalability and rich integration capabilities. In the future, if we go with Hyperion for the Financial Consolidation and planning purposes -BI integration with Hyperion is going to be much simpler as it has native interface connectivity and even integration capabilities with well known CRM products (Siebel) and ERP Products (Oracle EBS, Peoplesoft, SAP) is going to be easy and straight forward.

Great, if you are limited to using it along with other Oracle products; sadly, not if you are integrating with other products, which can be a challenge. It is a great product with tons of functionality and great integration with other in-house platforms. Great visuals and customization for data and analytics to provide decision-making data and analysis.

There really is no comparison between Excel and Slingshot. Excel is very clunky and can't produce the level of visualizations I need.

If compared with other major BI and data visualization tools ODVC guarantees a higher level o scalability. In fact, ODVC is ideal to be used to cover very complex use cases with data coming from different enterprise systems through different integration technology. ODVC can easily deal with millions of records.
