There are some specific scenarios where SAP on IBM Cloud is less appropriate. For example, if a company is looking for a platform to run small or experimental applications, then SAP on IBM Cloud may not be the best option. Additionally, if a company is looking for a very customized or tailored solution, then SAP on IBM Cloud may also be less appropriate. However, for most businesses who are looking for a secure, scalable, and reliable platform to run their business applications, SAP on IBM Cloud is an excellent option.

  • We have sometimes experienced some outages and hope IBM will fix this soon.
  • Initial trainings are required for the teams to work and do the setup.
  • Support documentation from IBM needs improvement with [the] inclusion of more detailed steps and video tutorials for [a] better understanding of the engineers.
  • The billing process is very complex and you may have to incur additional overhead. Need a simpler approach and clarity on this aspect.
  • Support response from the IBM team is very slow and lacks information.

It takes time to respond and never gives good solutions to the problems, since it seems somewhat robotic with its automatic messages, then when we speak directly with the support, it never gives a solution to our problems, we have to find other ways.

The IBM Professional services provided the re4quired infrastructure for getting the best out of this tool. It offered excellent guidelines that enhanced efficient integrations. The organization was pleased with the setup process that was completed quickly than expected. The application has been operation effectively after deployment. We have continued to get support from the IBM support team when there are challenges.

I have tested out both Microsoft Azure and SAP on IBM Cloud and can confidently say that SAP on IBM Cloud is the obvious choice. The key advantages of SAP on IBM Cloud compared to Microsoft Azure are that IBM Cloud offers free unlimited access to tech support, provides higher object storage space as well as unlimited private virtual servers.
