GTZShip vs. Infor Nexus

GTZ is a simple platform that is easy to use and walks you through the shipment process. If I need to find a rate for a shipment I can find an answer in minutes and I can set up shipments right away or future orders ahead of time.

It is good in integrating with multiple 3rd party service providers to create a single source of truth. It does not have user friendly GUI that delays in getting the information required by the user. Any new requirements always need investment and time to develop. It allows user to create report template and schedule reports to personal email that help to save time.

• Allows connectivity of EDI with 3rd party forwarder to transmit shipment data and milestones against the shipments
• Choosing the most economical and quickest routing for a purchase order
• Allows integration with SAP, Oracle, external service providers easily to make single source of truth for the operational information

• GUI is not as user friendly as it should be, and a training is required
• Filtering of shipments are not easy and intuitive to user, and it is a bit problematic to find details when a limited information is available to search
• Creating new methodology of report template require new development which require investment

My representative is available to answer my questions and if she is not available there is someone at the call center that can help me right away. I have never had a problem reaching a representative to take care of my needs.

Different carriers and 3pl have different platforms for shipping. I have used Unishippers, MyFreightWorld, Navisphere, Saia and YRC. GTZ is by far simpler and quicker to get a quote and set up a shipment.

It is better in integration with 3rd party service providers and quick turn around time and dedicated error resolution in receiving the data. We had inhouse SME from Infor Nexus team which allows quick development cycle and faster implementation. It allows visibility of milestones which is not available in SAP TM.

• It definitely creates value and enables user to reduce turn around time for reporting
• It helps to reduces the resources used to create manual reports with high data accuracy
• Implementation of Control Tower required investment more than $250k with ROI 23% within the first year and break even at 3.5 years
