Growave vs. OpusClip

After an exhaustive search, I was excited to choose Growave for my biz rewards & loyalty program, the Smile High Club™. The app is very customizeable so has checked off every requirement as far as our branding style guide goes. The greatest thing about Growave is its people. They are so kind, patient & know their stuff!! They always have an answer for me

It's great for taking long-form content and clipping it out to short form content and then distributing it to social platforms. It's not great as a long-form captioning and editing platform. If your goal is to create shorter-form content and get it distributed to most major platforms, this will be a great time-saver

• Support - They respond to emails quickly and professionally.
• Coding - They are Shopify experts and will also try to find a solution to a request.
• They are also cost effective meaning we are able to progress with development of our site without the high cost some other agencies charge.

• Not really anything there that would necessarily be needed, or that troubled the usage of the app. Of course, there were some "problems" or how I would better describe it "things that needed to be changed" when we first started with the app, but the back office is very easy to use and understand and if there was something, that couldn't be solved there, the customer service was very easy to respond, handle and solve the situation. So that's not really a drawback, because I guess it's a normal thing.
• The only thing that could be adapted, is that the emails are not multilingual. So it is not possible to translate them even with another translation app. So that's sort of bad for a multilingual shop, but is only a minor drawback.

• There is an opportunity to integrate some workflows. For example, you can't add captions, b-roll, and music to long-form content AND then clip them. Those are two separate workflows.
• It would be good if the distribution and scheduling were broader. Right now you can post to LinkedIn, TitTok, Facebook, and YouTube. A wider range of platform posting integrations would be useful.
• The AI B-roll and stock-footage B-roll is a bit wonky. It will need better contextual matching to be bulletproof.

We're currently a small newly launched eCommerce business so our needs are pretty basic. This app is free and does what we need it to and Growave's customer support and their dev team are super patient, helpful and attentive.

Easy to use and pretty turnkey. Prompting engine on the B-roll is pretty solid. Would be better if the lower-end versions had the ability to store more brand templates. Overall a very solid platform and a game-changer for smaller marketing and sales teams that want to push-button their content marketing efforts

They are super attentive and will work with you to make sure that Growave is properly integrated on your site. I had a few conversations with them. They always had prompt replies and they helped to create some custom solutions so that their modules matched the style of our website. It was overall a really great experience working with them.

Yotpo seems to have more ways to integrate your reviews with other features on your site, but Growave is a simple solution for people who aren't actively focusing their attention on reviews. Yotpo also seems to have better filters for negative keywords and swear words (important for children's toy company). However, Yotpo carries a much higher price tag.

I've used Descript to create clips but that process was manual. OpusClip took a manual process and automated it significantly. Each clip used to take me around 15-20 minutes to create (captions, branding, music, b-roll, etc). With OpusClip, I've taken that down to 5 minutes per clip or less. Massive time savings.

• Consumers truly enjoy the loyalty point program.
• The App makes it very fluid for easy log in's by the consumer.
• E-mail Notifications and retention programs are effective.

• Significant growth on most of the platforms I'm posting to
