Getty Images Enterprise Solutions vs. Spotify for Podcasters

Working in the medical field it can be difficult to find specialized imagery without shooting it yourself in-house however Getty has a pretty vast library. They've also done a nice job staying up with 'mask' imagery during the current COVID pandemic which my organization had a very high demand for. You will also find the photography to be more diverse than competitors and their search engine's suggestions are usually pretty spot on.

Anchor is a great podcast app for folks just starting out with podcasting or who want some of the technical things to be streamlined and simplified. With the built-in audience of Spotify subscribers, it's also easy to get started with a listening audience. There are easy ways to connect to other Podcast platforms and easy ways to integrate ads if that's something you want to do as a podcaster.

• High Quality Old stock footage
• Backgrounds Images for presentations
• Audio Resources are also quite very well

• Easiest way to create podcasts, or in reality any audio files.
• Have some level of reporting on how many people are accessing the files.
• The Android app is excellent, feature rich and quick.
• Different levels of compression to have smaller files.
• Good audio level support.

• The price point is typically not workable for smaller orgs
• Video/Music assets are not as strong as the photography library
• Vector-based assets are often built in strange ways that aren't always easy to manipulate

• Monetization features are currently present in only a limited number of countries, I look forward to the various monetization features like pre-roll and mid-roll ads to be made available soon in my country India.
• Add more platforms to its distribution services such as Amazon Music and similar ones so that we would not be required to submit the RSS Feed to platforms manually.

Easy to search multiple images and stock footage from the past is really helping us to deliver the content fast to our viewers. It is rather more expensive to send the reporter to remote place than the overall cost of the subscription for any large scale channels who need to depend on authenticated sources.

I could probably rattle after a dozen 'stock' photo companies that tout claims such as '$1 downloads, etc.' but don't bite on them, their libraries are extremely limited and you'll end up seeing photos you've used all over the place. For example, we once used a woman for a magazine cover who I also saw on a Southwest flyer, a Home Depot ad and on a poster at my kid's school all within a few months. It waters down your brand.

Anchor is less expensive and, in my opinion, much easier to use than SoundCloud for podcasting. Anchor makes syndication easy, and their recording and editing interfaces are clean and intuitive. SoundCloud seemed somewhat cumbersome to use, and I didn't care for its UI. Honestly, they seem better suited for other use cases.

• Its not assessed as of now.

• Taught us how yo properly organize and schedule our show.
• Anchor's integration with Spotify allows use of Spotify's wide library.
• Doesn't play well with outside ad agencies, Makes it difficult to be open to all kinds of ad agencies, thus reducing possible revenue.
