Followerwonk is well-suited for those who are active and at least semi-influential on Twitter. Conversely, it is also very helpful for those just starting out on Twitter as the compare users tab allows for deep comparison to competitors or to those users who you aspire to become more like me in terms of Twitter activity and influence. The many, many analyzation metrics make Followerwonk a very valuable tool for Twitter users looking to grow or just polish their presence, both businesses and individuals alike. I'd recommend Follwerwonk for those who seek to better analyze and refine their social media influence

Quintly works well when you need to measure and analyze a number of accounts on different channels. It's well suited for broad analysis and insights of numerous organizations. It falls a bit in terms of the user interface, which could use more polish. For the price, it's a great tool. It sits in the middle of the pack

  • Improvements to the Bio Word Cloud of followers in the Followers tab

  • Basically, apart from interaction rate all other KPIs are basic. Also what bothers us is that it doesn't include paid post KPIs. This is one point where SocialBakers performs very well.
  • Secondly, the swap system is something that is a little tiresome. Often you lose track of it and somehow end up missing on profile and analysis.
  • Would love to see more KPIs and recommendations for paid post promotion etc.

We will keep using it as long as it remains part of our Moz Pro subscription. If it were separated and the price point did not rise astronomically, we would be very likely to continue using the platform.

I think it's important for everyone to share the reviews of the tools they use as it can not just help other people to save time and money but also can help making an informed decision on which tool should be used for what and which is the best tool in the market to solve any given problem

Alternatives Considered
Honestly, I haven't used many other services that compete specifically with Followeronk. One of the reasons for this is that the service Followerwonk offers is typically lumped into other services as additional features or buy-in options. What I like about Followerwonk is that it is easy to use, fast, and I don't have to spend hours or any additional money to get the information I need to be successful.

Quintly was a short-term solution for us. For a mid-level price, you can analyze a large number of accounts fairly quickly. You can't analyze individual posts, which was a major flaw. If you're looking to analyze trends in your posts and A/B splits, this tool won't be terribly effective. If you're looking to measure the overall direction of an account for an affordable price, this works great. It's not Radian 6. It's not Simply Measured. But it also costs a lot less.

Return on Investment
  • One initiative our team launched was a series of educational webinars. We have been able to add an average of six new leads per webinar because of social media. If the messages had been delivered at non-peak times, there would be less likelihood of success.
  • When it comes to social media, it's difficult to nail down specific ROI without referencing a specific campaign. However, our team has seen a consistent follower growth with increasing RT's and Favorites. I attribute this to the right content hitting the right people at the right time.
  • Our team has uncovered a number of valuable relationships with other Twitter users in our industry that have helped us increase the reach of our overall marketing message. These relationships were uncovered using Followerwonk's keyword search.

  • For the mid-level price, it's an effective tool
  • It's neither cheap nor very thorough, but it can accomplish quite a bit for it's relatively modest price
  • The cloud based interface always worked reliably for me and my team.
