GPS Insight in Scottsdale, Arizona offers their suite of fleet management applications focusing primarily on GPS tracking of assets as well as fueling management. The software includes the capabilities of the former Rhino Fleet Tracking solution, now part of GPS Insight.
Fleet Complete is a great software with a great build. I would just like to see them update some of the features. The desktop version is a big item that really could use an update. They also need to set up an alert system that will notify you when a tracker stops working. Other than that, it is an easy to use system. The trackers are easy to install and there are numerous reports that you are able to pull on demand. Great for IFTA tracking!
Sometimes it can take days to get through to support. It is also an inconvenience when you have to get a device replaced. First you have to call them to troubleshoot the device. Then they have to create the order, which then takes about another month to get to you. This leaves you with over a month without a working device. They do not credit you for this downtime either.
Customer support is always responsive and extremely helpful. They pick up the phone and respond to emails promptly. They reached out to us recently to make sure we were getting the most out of the software. They walked me through how to set up some great reports.
Fleet Complete works ten times better than Teletrac did. We utilized Teletrac for 3 years, and for a good two of those years, half of our devices would not work. It was a nightmare to try to get them replaced also.
Fleetmatics works well, but they require a lengthy contract. Also, more than double the monthly cost. GPS Insight is cheaper to provide a better service and does precisely what we need. Their customer service has been fantastic. We had long food times when trying to get in touch with Fleetmatics.
