If you need multiple ISPs for wan aggregation or site to site failover. This box can tolerate failures of ISPs and sites with less than 1-3 seconds of outage time.

If you can control the rollout of the client the Pulse Connect Secure is user-friendly. We often have a federation of endpoints that we do not control and those endpoints invariably cause pain during major upgrade cycles. It’s also not obvious that some of the default choices (like what type of VPN to use) actually degrades the service.

At Adecco, first and foremost, we have Pulse SDP easy to use for our employees. This is a critical factor for us because employees are spending much less time calling into support than engaged in high payoff activities. However, when I have called in for support, Pulse SDP has been responsive and effective.

Alternatives Considered
Fatpipe invented SD-WAN over 25 years ago and has been leading the way. Other companies I think have just ridden their coattails.

We found Pulse SDP to be a superior choice to AppGate SDP because we found Pulse SDP to have greater flexibility and provide an all in one solution. Because Pulse SDP delivers a wide range of functions and tools, the tool provided a much greater return on investment in our analysis process.
