Euna Budget vs. Fathom by The Access Group

Citizen engagement would be the area where it could be best suited. I don't really see it outside of the public sector but we use it to interact with our clients in the public sector. It helps to be able to show the transparency of engagement of citizens to communicate best with local government agencies.

Report could be used in any industry but when it comes to functionality, it is more suitable businesses where there are not many division. I found it hard for Fathom to extract Xero tracking data and to represent it in the financials. If you would like to consolidate the financials, I also find it easy to do it via Fathom

• If you have multiple divisions within the business, reporting/budgeting by division are not as good as induvial reports.

It's very easy to use and intuitive enough that you can guide yourself through even if you do not have IT on staff to assist you. It's easy to set up and get going in minutes. All you have in front of you to analyze data and present. It's helpful for the customer too.

I haven't had to deal with support much because it's such an easy-to-use product but when I have, they have been very easy to talk to, engage, and resolve our needs quickly. The challenges we had were met over the phone as they walked us through the system.

It stacked up very well. We evaluate at least 3 companies before making software decisions and this one was a clear contender. The map visualization and pop ups are wonderful to be able to visually see what you are discussing in person. These are qualities the rest do not have.

We also used Spotlight reporting before we tried out Fathom and we found Fathom much easier to navigate and Xero integration, consolidation are very strong feature of the product. Spotlight reporting is similar to Fathom however, Fathom is more flexible, there are better visual reports and grafts and we found it easier to customize the reports templates. You can also share the reports with multiple group of people online.

• it saved us few hours a month to prepare consolidated reports.
• it made is easy to understand the financials with visuals
• Integration with Xero also made it much accurate
