Equips vs. Fiix by Rockwell Automation

Equips is great to handle multiple units at different locations and maintain stats. As for managing 3rd party vendors, Equips still puts some of the responsibility on me to respond to 3rd party invoices. This was well Managed when I first stared with Equips over 3 years ago. As of lately, this seems to be slacking on a bigger scale. Almost every time I make a service call for our color copiers, I later receive an invoice from the vendor, and an invoice-reminder from the vendor. This is currently an ongoing issue which concerns me about adding any more units in the future.

- Well suited for tracking what work needs to be done that day/week - Well suited to also see what assets need to be maintained - Good for being able to see how often items need to be checked - Not well suited for including pictures into the work order

• Quick response time.

• Creates what tasks are overdue
• Dashboards on where you are with work orders

• I still get invoices from the 3rd party vendor. Equips has inconsistent directions on how to handle this.

• The UI can be easier to navigate
• Include new instructional videos
• Make it more intuitive

The UI is a bit dated. Also would be nice if able to include pictures into work orders in a better way. We use Fiix by Rockwell Automations as a way to also include instructions on repeating tasks, making it easier to add step by step instructions would help a lot and with the addition of pictures within the steps.

Equips is more affordable in comparison and we still get to use Ricoh through them.

I haven't used other solutions, so not sure how it stacks up.

• We've saved money by switching to Equips.

• Help ensured system is well maintained
• Prevented items from not being tracked
• Track hours spent on tasks to better determine headcount
