A scenario where Midigator is well suited is in the efficient response time. I like how fast Midigator always replies to my emails in a timely manner. I also appreciate how they are willing to go above and beyond always to help me and make sure I have all questions answered always.
It is well suited for smaller businesses that would be a lot more in danger if a bigger amount of fraudulent transactions would come in. SEON is removing threats, bad merchants, and fraudsters from the equation.
RDR alerts are often categorized as chargebacks instead which takes some work on our side to get the numbers just right.
While upper management is very responsive and incredibly helpful when an emergency arises, we do not feel like the account managers are very knowledgeable or proactive.
very disappointed that they more than doubled their pricing within just 5 weeks, especially after being a loyal customer for 4 years. In my opinion, the new pricing is unreasonable for startups, and they refused to adjust it by even a dollar.
We utilized Kount and Midigator concurrently for a short period of time. I have zero negatives to share about Kount, but we did not continue with them because we found Midigator to fill all of our current needs. In all truth, Kount and Midigator paired well together to cast a wide net on potential chargebacks/disputes, and it helped us gain an edge in preventing them. We moved on from Kount because it did not yield as many prevention notices as Midigator, but should the need arise and our budget increase, we'd likely team up to include them to compliment Midigator in having the best chargeback midigator system ever.
SEON: Offers real-time fraud detection with advanced digital footprinting, device fingerprinting, and behavioral analytics. Analyzes data from multiple sources (email, phone, IP address, social media) to build detailed user profiles. Customizable risk scoring and rule-setting allow businesses to tailor fraud prevention to their specific needs. ACOMS Risk Assessment: Typically focuses on risk assessment in financial transactions, often with more rigid and pre-configured parameters. May not provide the same level of granular control or real-time insights for businesses outside traditional finance. Advantage: SEON’s broader and more flexible features make it a better fit for industries beyond traditional finance, such as e-commerce, gaming, and subscription services.
Before using Midigator, members would call to cancel their membership and customer service would cancel them and provide a refund. However, the member would also call their bank to dispute the original charge. So, they end up getting double the amount that they paid. Using Midigator, we are able to avoid losing revenue.
