SpaceIQ by Eptura vs. OfficeSpace Software

SpaceIQ has been nothing but a positive for us. We have become so much more organized in our department and have only scratched the surface with what we can do with it. We are adding layers every week to improve our experience. Literally, the only thing I can think of that they could improve on is response time when it comes to customer service. We have loved SpaceIQ so far and I don't see that changing.

It is perfect for hybrid work. If there are no assigned desks, you can book a desk for however long you need to use it. It tells you which desks are occupied and by whom so you can know where to book a desk.

• Flexibility for growth. The ability to add new spaces and locations is easy.
• SAML support is really easy to set up and very nice to use to get into the application quickly to find where someone is located.
• Customer Support is quick to respond and always makes sure that your issues and questions have been fully resolved.

• Very easy to learn and use - was up and running after only 1 hour of training.
• Department can be color coded so it is easy to determine the correct utilization.
• Customer Service is outstanding - when you need it (which is rarely) you usually get a call or e-mail within 2 hours.
• They listen to you - they are always updating the software and value the feedback they get from their customers
• They use the cloud - updates are automatic

• More training and onboarding resources detailed on site to make it easier for new employees to learn the ins and outs of the site

• I would like to see on-demand ticketing designed for a multi party hand off system that ties to a standardized process flow.
• I would like an improved interface on mobile generally but especially for move manager and request manger.

Useability is right up there, some of the graphics seem a little outdated and could be updated, but navigating the maps and models is easy and you get a really clear view of the different buildings and levels within those buildings. Overall, as a user this a great tool!

I haven't had any issues with the software to date.

Support is happy to help at any time. If there are bulk tasks, they are more than willing to do them for you. The staff is super-friendly, and they like to check with you occasionally to let you know about feature updates. I have never hesitated to contact them with any of my needs and questions.

Both of these companies have good space planning software solutions, but at the time we were exploring our options they were still building on what seemed to be an antiquated and bloated back-end that was not user-friendly compared to Space IQ. They had many more features than SpaceIQ could offer at the time, but SpaceIQ proved their ability to be agile and implement solutions faster than most tech companies I've worked with. At the time they were more of a startup, but I could see their promise, and we jumped in and have not regretted it one bit. They have continued to deliver innovative solutions even in areas where there were very few pain points. They continue to make things better and it's been great to work with them.

I felt OfficeSpace met the needs of our company. Other competitors had features that our company would not use so why pay more for something you are not going to use? I truly like the idea of being in the cloud. Bugs are fixed quickly and it is very easy to get on line with support to review a problem to quickly learn a new feature.

• It makes our lives easier.
• We are able to review staff quickly at a glance.
• We are able to reorganize our office space when needed.

• When our entire team needed to go in, it helped us be able to book desks near each other
• Gives a lot of flexibility. We can book a desk in any city in the world that is available.
