Entelo vs. SeekOut

Great for reaching out to passive candidates and standing out instead of using LI. Candidates are used to receiving the same messages in the same format and by using this tool we have the chance to mix it up and try and stand out from our competition. Entelo has been an awesome addition to my toolbox

Diversity teams use this, and powerfilters are very helpful. When looking for volume, Seek out other terms to find relevant profiles well. For example, it might map other candidates with similar terms at the end of the pool search. Also, the bias reducer filter helps make sure there is less bias towards a hiring manager and the recruiters.

• Entelo provides accurate candidate contact info. Many of the profiles I have sourced via the platform have had the correct email address and my emails were able to reach the prospective candidate. This really helps recruiting efforts. Most candidates in this day and age constantly check their personal email. Engineers in particular are a hard group to reach and just sending an InMail isn't always the best route. Entelo really helps in recruiting for engineers by helping to provide their personal contact details.
• Entelo's tracking feature is a great strength. Any email you send to candidates on the platform, you can track accordingly. I get a notification when the candidate opens my email, clicks on link in the email, and when they reply. The notifications don't just come through the Entelo platform but you get an email as well so you're up to date.
• Entelo search is another great feature. You can search for candidates by entering skill, position, company name etc. There's even a diversity filter! Really great search criteria that helps you hone in on your ideal candidates. This is really useful for hard to fill technical positions.

• It is customized with boolean search and allows users to merge the keywords with advanced features to get best results.
• With complex keywords, it searches till best possible outcomes by utilizing powerful filters.
• It’s basic features is to find the best capable candidates, it sends users personalized messages through email.

• All the profile information isn't up to date and you always need to click through to their profile links (LinkedIn, GitHub, Angel List, etc.)
• It doesn't do a great job of pulling profiles from Facebook as you are better off sourcing directly from Facebook.
• If would be great if they could provide email reporting for the time of day to test the best time of day to email candidates so you can a/b test. Also, it would be great if you could provide response rate by List so you can see out of the 'x' number of candidates on a list, 'y' number of candidates responded. If a candidate doesn't respond to my initial outreach I send multiple follow-up emails so it would good to see how many candidates on my List respond to me. If I were to do that now it would be a very manual process and take too much time.
• They don't have drip/automated email campaign capabilities. It would be great when I send that initial email to a candidate to have the ability to scheudle follow-up emails based. For example, if the candidate doesn't respond to my initial email within 2 days send follow up email 1, if they don't respond to that email within 2 days send follow-up 2, etc.

• SeekOut needs better updates to the backend repository, LI. Several times, when pulled through, SeekOut pulled up LI profiles that were not up to date compared to when searched on LI directly.
• It would be helpful to have better/more updated phone information. As noted in the previous screen, approx. 50% of phone contact information is spot-on, however capturing more up to date information for phone would be helpful.
• Although picky, having different colors for screens to highlight areas would be helpful. Working late at night, which many times do, the screens are similar in color and brightness, and it would be beneficial to have more distinguishment in colors or brightness so as not to blend.

This platform tends to give you applicants who are not necessarily looking for new opportunities. I have had people be upset that I contacted them or sought them out on LinkedIn. This can be troublesome when the only thing I am trying to do is find qualified applicants. I need active people, who dont mind a cold call

Using SeekOut is very intuitive. Lots of multi-select boxes, toggle switches, and keyword boxes. If you have any experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut is not a far jump in learning how to use it effectively. I will say that adding candidates to projects doesn't necessarily feel like an intuitive process after you've been redirected to LinkedIn to look at a candidate's profile

We have not needed to get in touch with the support team during our time using SeekOut because someone else in our company takes care of that matter. Overall, we have been very satisfied with the ease of use and self-sufficiency of SeekOut and have not found the need to contact the support team.

We had an online tarining with all the recruiters. The trainer was very good, and enthusiast as well. He explained everything very detailed, showed how to search which kind of functions are in Seekout. He showed the program by using examples of search. We could ask questions at the end, and he told that we can contact him any time.

Once the licenses were purchased we were sent an email to activate our account. From there we had full access to the platform and a training was set up. Since I had used SeekOut previously I understood the dynamics of the platform and was able to use it instantly.

Entelo is similar to SeekOut in general, but I prefer Entelo as I find I have more success finding the candidates I am looking for. It has everything I need and then some, and that is what I like about it. I also love the Chrome extension and its ease of use.

We selected SeekOut as an extra level of sourcing and the intention was not to use LI anymore. They do not stack up because we are able to DM candidates, or they can message us asking questions, set up screens, send resumes, etc. You can not do that on SeekOut.
