Energage has perfected the employee survey. We have not used it for anything else, so this is difficult to say.

If you don't have an employee engagement and performance platform, Workleap Officevibe will nicely fill that space; it would be best suited to small to medium organizations where there is already conversation to support team engagement, and anonymous surveys are helpful. The one-on-one feature and goals are also useful for proactively and positively engaging the workforce.

Cons
  • The only area of improvement may be streamlining the emails they send out after the surveys have been tabulated and the information is available. We usually just want the report and because Energage does such a good job compiling it via the dashboard and the graphics, our company doesn't have a need for further tools and promotion tips. It can get confusing when there's too many options to share and/or best practices to follow.

Usability
No answers on this topic
Officevibe's user interface for end users is straightforward and well-designed; it looks nice and intuitive. We did have confusion about the brand, with some new employees thinking they were spam emails. Also, the manager's view and getting access to the right visibility can be confusing unless well administrated internally.

Alternatives Considered
We've yet to look into any options other Energage because we've felt Energage has completely covered our needs over the years.

While both of these products are geared towards office much larger than mine, Officevibe is priced by user so I was able to scale it down to fit us and is much more affordable than 15Five. They didn't have the ability to scale it down so the cost was very prohibitive for us. I can add users as we grow and remove them if necessary so it's always going to stay affordable

Return on Investment
  • It's helped with recruiting. Candidates see the Top Workplaces icon on our website or they read the article and they trust that we really are a Top Workplace based on the information Energage helped compile.
  • The impact internally is immense. Our leadership pulls direct data and comments from Energage's surveys and uses it to inform their decisions and goals. The leadership also cites what our employees told us to explain why we're doing certain things as a company. There's always alignment shared when possible so employees know their feedback matters.

  • I love seeing the eNPS. It is a quick reference point to see where our employees approval line lies.
  • The executive team gets a deeper look at the feelings of employees to see if problems are brewing.
