Diligent Boards vs. PDF Sign&Seal

I'm pretty sure I've given a description of this in one of my prior answers, but I would like to give a further note of my example that this is well suited for board pack production for our board meetings, specifically in relation to the PLC board meetings we hold regularly within the company function.

PDF Sign&Seal is perfect if you have documents that need to be signed electronically. It may not be an excellent choice if you work off a mobile device or are on the road a majority of the time as there are better app alternatives that do a similar job signing docs electronically for you.

• Customer service is great. if any of the built resources are not sufficient to resolve a challenge, reaching out to Diligent, there is always someone ready to assist till a challenge is resolved
• Assistance is readily available at any given time
• Diligent is progressive, always creating ways to ease how we do work

• not so easy to handle access when we have to arrange a specific, non-standard set up of access: sometimes we have to limit the access to one or few of the members of a particular book
• calendar function will be useful, but it is an additional cost
• flexible view options: vertical vs. horizontal

• I'd like to see a stronger mobile interface or app

We find the Boards portal to be an effective tool for our board meeting documents. It is user friendly and allows for amendments, additions as needed without compromising documents that have already been uploaded. Additionally, our Board members are comfortable with the platform and confident in their ability to navigate it.

Great service!

Quick service, specially on loading.

The turnaround time is great, and the customer support team usually resolves queries in one go. However, customer support can improve by suggesting additional helpful activities to improve user experience, rather than limiting it to the specific requests made. Overall, it has been a positive experience with the customer support team.

The training was executed through a Deligent meber.

The training offerings are much better than they used to be 5 years ago. Kudos to that!

We have reviewed all credible products in the market as we prepare to exit our diligent relationship. Although some products were stronger than others, I would have chosen any one of them over Diligent. They are all lower cost and better.

PDF Sign&Seal is very intuitive and does not have a crazy high learning curve. Even a high-level exec who isn't computer savvy can use it without much difficulty. This is why we chose this software ultimately to help expedite getting signatures needed for vendor contracts passed through the right hands in quicker.

It is really worth it.

• Diligent has improved the time spent on training new board members as the app is user-friendly and self-explanatory, especially for IT-savvy Directors.
• The app has cut down the cost of sending notifications to directors on material added on the app, as directors automatically receive notifications as soon as material is available.
