Digify vs. Dropbox DocSend

Digify is an ideal tool for exchanging sensitive documents with partners, clients, and investors. Also to securely share files, videos, movies, and PDF presentations. Controlling the printing, sending, and downloading of vital documents is a huge advantage.

It's super great for sharing sales collateral, investor pitch slide decks, and other one-time viewing content. It's mainly built for sales but has been a huge benefit as a small startup. It best for PDF content that is okay to be horizontally oriented and scrolled (e.g. the forward and back buttons are on the side of the viewing interface).

• We can set limits on uploaded files and customize them for a specific viewer using Digify.

• I don't have a lot to complain but it is a bit overpriced, in my opinion.
• Sometimes it messes with the firewall and some of the clients are not able to open the Digify links.
• Initially, a few of our team members found it difficult but eventually they got the hang of it. It is not particularly a drawback but maybe there is a learning curve for some people. I'm extremely happy though.

It has more ease of use. We started with the free trial and we quickly realized that Digify tops the competitors. Its interface is user-friendly and it is fun to work with.

Our organization previously used ClearSlide but switched to DocSend as a cost savings. It was not made clear during the sales process that DocSend does not natively possess audio conferencing or screen-share capabilities. We had to add on the join.me integration after the fact, which has not worked well. When our contract is up with DocSend we will be moving back to ClearSlide

• The time you’d spend having to send each link to individual clients without tracking is well worth the $100 on the product
• We’ve been able to close our fundraising round and increase partnerships by utilizing DocSend - would recommend!
