Detrack vs. Samsara Vehicle Telematics

As a trainer for the use of the software, it was surprisingly easy to explain to the final users how the software works, and being able to do that shorted the time for the theory training and left more room for the practical training, as for the actual use of the software it's very well suited to do what is meant to do, tracking is easy, implementation is fast, honestly teaching it was a breeze.

Samsara [for Fleets] is an excellent solution not only to help with the DOT/FMCAS ELD compliance regulation, it has helped our organization stay on top of our fleet health and maintenance better than ever before. This program takes the mileage from the trucks and uses that information to calculate the maintenance intervals for all service schedules created. Then it will give you warnings as the vehicles approach those intervals in order to help plan out maintenance for your fleet minimizing down time.

easiest telematics we have ever used

Great support team. Always available by chat, phone, email. They have always answered our questions and issues that we've had with the software. I'm thankful to have such a quality team to back their product. I was surprised by the level of access and transparency they offer to their customer service team to share with us.

EASY TO FOLLOW- EASY TO USE

Detrack makes a difference in the time used for training new agents, while veteran agents who are already used to the software of this sort got entangled with the program very easily; the synchronization issues that were the main use in most of the complaints we received were fairly fixed but the impact was not as bad as it could sound but is a pebble in the road nevertheless. Compared to previous programs that we use in different campaigns, which can be very raw than Detrack we had an amazing time using it and teaching it.

Samsara [for Fleets] is head and shoulders about the opposing products we stacked it up against. Between the ease of use for the driver app, the intuitive user friendly homepage and attentive staff and support team that Samsara provides makes their solution second to none. There have been multiple times that I have suggested items in the respective area of the website and within days I'm having a conference call with their development team so they can better understand what I'm looking for and how to make it happen and appeal to all customers in a constant effort to add value to their product.
