It’s great for any organization with 30 people or more and is good if you have unique cases, such as full-time and contract employees or if you have employees in other countries. It would be less ideal for early start-up companies or mom-and-pop shops with a couple of employees.

Omnipresent used to be great when they started but at the moment we really struggle with the time it takes them to action our requests. It usually takes some time for them to get back to us and a few days to get things sorted. I usually have to follow up with them on the progress. Payroll - we struggle to get variable pay numbers in by the payroll deadline. No amendments are possible and we can't send any off-cycle payments. Payroll is quite limiting. Moreover, Omnipresent doesn't have present in all their countries so dealing through third parties can be very lengthy. Price - considering all the above, the monthly fees are more than other competitors that provide better support, better payroll experience and have entities in all the countries

Cons
  • The conversion rates are a little bit high
  • Customer service has its delays and it's sometimes just slow
  • Feels a bit rigid with agreements customization

  • Consistency - There's been a lot of turnover of staff over the past year. It would be ideal to have the same account manager for more than six months.
  • In many countries, Omnipresent uses local service providers to employ folks. In those countries, we see really long response times, and the info provided isn't always accurate or easy to understand.

We have been using this software for the last two years in the company of the a.m. Right now, I am part of the admin team for this software, so just being able to have a 1:1 usage of the software has helped me to realize how many aspects any other saw HR tool are lacking.

Depending on the country, other EORs are more economical. Some of their third party providers in country can impact employee experience.

Usability
They have built a clean and thoughtful experience. I can tell you this as a UX designer with 10+ years of experience.

The question doesn't really apply to a service like Omnipresent. If we are speaking about their app, it is easy to use and works fairly well

Omnipresent's support staff are friendly, however when I approached them with this issue of 'invoice statements' rather than normal 'invoices' they said that it was a problem they knew of and that they would hopefully resolve this soon. More than 6 months later and the problem is not solved and it has caused us to decide never to use Omnipresent in the future.

We moved from Globalization Partners (GP) to Deel because we needed an Employer of Record solution with a much more scalable pricing and service model. GP's platform is clunky - we often can't get the right access to what we need, employees have trouble finding what they need and it results in having to submit a support ticket. Deel is much more intuitive - it puts everything at employees' fingertips and makes things much more self-service. Permission profiles are easy to set up and manage, and we're able to access all of the data we need when we need it

We ultimately decided to work with Omnipresent due to their dedication to customer service and their pricing. There are a lot of great EOR vendors out there, but we had an excellent relationship with Omnipresent from the moment we reached out for a demo. We also greatly value their dedication to implementing changes based on customer feedback - since we started using the OmniPlatform, we've seen countless improvements, and we've been given a lot of opportunities to share our feedback.

Return on Investment
  • Very positive, has saved me days of legal and admin work.
  • Made us globally compliant and has allowed us to hire in all jurisdictions without having to worry about legal implications.
  • Allows us to scale the company easily, hire from all over the world, and provide a fast and easy solution for payments.
  • Contractors are also extremely happy with Deel as they receive the payment quickly, are [able] to submit expenses easily, and it's all automated.
