Well suited for any size company which needs CRM management. Easy to use. Great for individuals or teams that use Apple products. Daylite and ios expert integration has been key in capturing leads from our website into the Daylite database, plus then if they opt into email marketing, they are entered into the MailChimp database. The web forms also automate the creation of opportunities and are linked with the contacts/companies. Sales Managers with geographical responsibilities can easily filter contacts or projects based on these regions so they only see what they need. Daylite is not appropriate for Windows users.
When working with several people at the same time, being able to access the full directory [with Shared Contracts for Gmail] makes things 100% easier. Provides a faster look at the company wide directory and grants access to contact whoever is needed. Now if its a company like mine; merged between two, sometimes it becomes a little complicated, due to the fact that it doesn't recognize some email domains (outlook based) and can cause problems sometimes when sending emails (you get an undeliverable email response, and sometimes the emails do get send and other they don't). And they won't pop-out as easy as a recommendation. First you would get the gmail based email and then the 'outsider' email.
Now I can easily process my emails, I can store them even I can pin them and make a sticky note so that whenever I have a meeting I can better assist the client.
This tool provides me numerous integrations to associate with Mac.
It is very easy to customize as I have customized the notification and alerts.
I have been looking for a way to share our contacts within our organization for a while now. This process really improves how we were doing it within Google Sheets.
My only negative is that it has taken so long for it to be functional within Google.
Daylite is dragging us towards success and giving reliable features. The developer and technical team listen to the feedback about the platform and correct the errors and bugs in the limited time frame. It helps in managing the project's progress, track the overall completion of project, plan, creates and performs with having a feature of adding a reminder to the task and helps in easily managing the finances too.
Shared Contacts for Gmail is amazing to use when you need a lot of contact information on the go. If there's a medium level organization that needs a contact network that is easily accessible for remote work. I wouldn't recommend this for organizations whos works are based on leads and immediate revenue.
Daylite has been very helpful for new employees to answer their own questions about contacts/passwords, etc.
We found the tiny notification bell to be weak, sometimes a project comes in with a tight deadline and we have to double-check and ask an employee if they saw the notification. More time would be saved by just chatting about the project and its expectations.
A huge benefit is the institutional knowledge that can be had by reading past projects. We've tracked everything, so the history is there.
