CyberHoot vs. Phished

CyberHoot's free individual training is great for improving individual cybersecurity knowledge and skills. They offer a plethora of very critical solution to Businesses that include but is not limited to training, policy management, phish training/testing, Dark Web Monitoring, etc. By providing the tools for navigating cyber threats and risks companies can better protect their critical Business environment organization.

Phished was very easy to implement at my organization. We have had no issues with my team navigating this software. The platform is extremely user friendly. I would recommend Phished to any company looking to protect themself against cyber attacks. This software is an asset that definitely pays for itself in the long run. You can never be too safe!

• Easy to understand training videos that are brief yet impactful
• easy access and flexible options for testing
• Only six test questions for mastery of content with opportunity to retake
• great graphics and audio on the videos
• relevant and effective training content
• Excellent training for busy employees

• Provides simulations to help increase cyber threat awareness
• Provides continual active reporting to lock out cyber attacks
• Provides their "Behavioral Risk Score" to monitor the organization's security status at all times

• I'd like to see the feedback change a little when I get a question wrong on the test. It can be a little confusing, but certainly not a game-changer.

• I would like more testing and personalized simulations added
• It would be great to have job role specific training so each different department knows better of the cyber threats that might come their particular way
• More detailed status reports would certainly be beneficial

I enjoyed the cybersecurity training provided by CyberHoot and felt that it had a lot to offer. Cybersecurity professionals, as well as non-cyber security professionals, would both benefit from the content. I've personally utilized several different platforms for security awareness training and feel that the content, presentation, videos, and gamification help CyberHoot to edge out the competition.

Phished seemed like the better alternative for my organization. I have used Barracuda in the past with another employer. That software doesn't provide the status reports that Phished does. Barracuda filters company wide emails which seems like a good feature, but can be detrimental when "safe" emails aren't making their way through. Phished has a better monitoring system overall

• I signed up for the individual training and found the content, training, and testing to be highly beneficial
• As an employee of a large financial institution I can see the value in the corporate offerings they have to proactively train and empower employees with cybersecurity knowledge.

• Phished has helped us protect against data breaches which in return protects our profits and maintain client retention
• Phished has freed up project management tasks for our IT department since the software is always monitoring cyber attacks
• Phished has allowed my organization to meet its annual cyber protection goals
