CustomShow.com vs. Showpad eOS®

It is well suited for larger organizations. It cannot be used by single individuals like people who use Prezi or Powerpoint. If you are a large organization and looking to save on productivity, time, and improve branding across marketing and sales pitches, this software is absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend anyone heading up a company with 25 employees or more consider the software.

Any person who is interested in understanding the level of engagement from a client needs Showpad. It is a must-have software if you have people within your organization that are customer-facing. If your role is primarily communicating with employees within your own organization, then this software might not be as useful to you. For those in sales, account management, or who needs to know if your recipient has seen your emails/content, this is a useful tool.

• It integrates video seamlessly into any presentation you create.
• It have an incredible slide library management component that stores everything in the cloud for the users.
• Used by major fortune 100 companies, it allows for organizations to present their best and look their best.

• User-Friendly. The ability to easily customize to fit your needs
• Delivering content easily and quickly, reducing cost for print, and out of date information
• Reporting. Providing the analytical function to track what content has been utilized or not utilized and become more efficient in the type of information you share
• Offline Use. The ability to be able to view content offline

• I think the analytics piece could be improved a little more.

• Version control is an issue. Would be nice to go back to previous versions of a file.
• The in-app viewing experience feels a little rigid. Prefer to download the files before viewing.
• The main landing page is a little more cluttered than I would like.

Because it provides a great user experience, it makes my organization look good in front of pitches, and the software is great from a collaboration perspective. Plus, I like the fact that i can use video incredible well with all of my presentations. It has minor challenges and takes time to figure out, but once you do the sky is the limit.

I have not been involved with support from Showpad so I am not entirely sure. However, we have received some emails from our help desk about an outage and it seems like it didn't last very long so I would say that it was pretty effective support to that extent.

I think they are all stacking up against each other. Powerpoint is a free alternative. But I think CustomShow doesn't focus on better looking powerpoint slides....it focuses on better looking presentations period. Because of that, CustomShow is really in a different category of business presentation software and up there with Clearslide.

The only option our company used was cloud-based file-sharing services (Box, Dropbox, etc) and emails like Outlook or Gmail. Both options make it hard for version control and for ease of navigation. Generally, end-users had an easier time finding content on Showpad.

• It has had a positive ROI in that the level of productivity in creating presentations has grown.

• We are not limited by what physical catalogs and literature we get - we can send out any piece of literature to a customer.
• All of our content is centralized in one place.
• Our marketing department has the ability to view what content is shared the most and viewed the most, so they can focus on those items.
• Gives our sales reps visibility into what our customers are looking at.
