If your organization is in a spot where you need a well-rounded tool to help with content, marketing, or even task organization, CoSchedule might be the right fit.

If you are looking for a great way to create, send for approval, and schedule/post social content, you won't find anything easier or more straightforward than HeyOrca. Especially great if you need multiple people to approve or have multiple social accounts to manage. HeyOrca also gives you a great overview of all social media and an idea of the strategy and how it all works together.

• Requeue tool to slate out additional posts for a given piece of content is a huge time saver
• Aggregate analytics tool shows us a peek across our posts on a given platform that's actually easier to read than the platform itself

• HeyOrca has outstanding customer service. Whenever I have a question or issue I contact the HeyOrca team and they respond within minutes. They go above and beyond to help you resolve any issues and communicate to make sure the issue is fixed and everything is ready to go. They also make sure to ask you if there is anything else you need.
• HeyOrca notifies you if any of your posts don't have a valid link or if the post needs to be edited. This is convenient because I can go in, know there is an issue, and then make changes accordingly.
• HeyOrca has an amazing user-friendly layout. My clients love it because it's easy to see and it allows them to comment on any post.

• The import Google Doc to WordPress functionality never worked successfully or reliably for me. So I just manually copy and paste Google Docs to the WordPress editor instead.
• The social sharing counter was not that helpful, because it only counted Facebook and Google+. Who uses Google+ anymore? Plus, now they don't even show the social counter in the monthly calendar view. so you can't see the numbers without doing some extra digging.
• In the monthly calendar view, some titles get cut off if they don't wrap cleanly in the day's box. So I would make it look cleaner instead of having words broken up by a hyphen.

• We had some issues with the timing of posts and posts not going out when they updated their platform recently.
• Missing out on posting directly to Instagram (we have to use another platform for this).
• Doesn't support Instagram stories, so we have to denote which ones are for Instagram stories and which ones are for Instagram newsfeed.

The interface is very intuitive, from setting up social profiles, to posting, to tags, to optimizing for best day/time to post. It's super easy to scan the aggregate analytics. The calendar is very easy to grok at a glance, and the more advanced functionality is intuitive to set up.

Hey Orca has a lot of really great features, they make the workflow really easy and are extremely available for help with questions. I think there are some minor workflow issues that it could overcome and features it could add on that are available in other apps. It definitely doesn't offer the best analytics and also hasn't offered single image direct publishing like hootsuite does. Yet, it's benefits outweigh those minor inconveniences for our team

I didn't have to use their official support, but I can say that they put out a lot of content online to help users. Their YouTube page has quite an array of tutorial videos explaining how things work and how to get the most out of their tools. If you're struggling, before picking up a phone or blasting off an email, try searching for your problem on YouTube or their forums.

CoSchedule is definitely a more powerful marketing tool than Loomly or Buffer, which are more dedicated to straight social media scheduling. I preview the calendar overview offered by CoSchedule, which makes it easy to see everything at a glance. PromoRepublic is similar but has the added Canva-type integration, which makes it more appealing to our clients who want to be able to easily put together their own images. CoSchedule is a bit pricy, which can be prohibitive for clients who don't pay in dollars.

Hootsuite is definitely a popular platform and we used to use it but felt as though it wasn't super client friendly. We had a lot of confused clients that found it harder to understand and monitor their social content. I think HeyOrca does a better job with the calendar layout and features.
