CompAnalyst is a compensation management software product from Salary.com. It includes survey data management, a job description builder, access to the Salary.com worldwide database (HR-reported salary data), and a dashboard to analyze internal pay practices vs. the market.
Depending on the complexity of the processes, the regulatory constraints and the number of employees to be managed, beqom can be a very powerful solution. Sometimes it's just too powerful and expensive for the scope.
It is a great tool to have if I need to make my business case for why we did or did not adjust a certain pay scale based on comprehensive data from CA. I can present a very strong case with real data to approve or reject a request for an adjustment or offer that is above or below our pay scale
I would like to see additional customization options in the software's application widgets.
Some competitors offer the ability for customers to see real-time pay data from their customer base. This is a feature I would like to see in CompAnalyst.
Some user interfaces in the software still need to be updated, but the team is doing an excellent job rolling out new features and updating the tool.
It could be a little more user friendly but once you get used to it it is fine. I love having a tool at my disposal that is current and accurate. I also like the fact that it keeps adding jobs and creates an broad database across multiple industries and even within industries to compare "apples to apples"
Our Professional Services Consultant and Customer Success Manager are always available to answer our questions. If I have a compensation-related question, they will find the answer for us. They take our product feedback seriously, and the team has implemented a few of our requested features in the system. Their Vice President of Product Management is always open to receiving feedback, and CompAnalyst is always reaching out to customers to demo and test new product offerings.
The value proposition for CompAnalyst is greater than other compensation management software alternatives that we have evaluated. No other system offers the same capabilities and functionalities as the CompAnalyst platform. While some competitors offer unique features not found in the tool, CompAnalyst is always evaluating new offerings to enhance the site. Additionally, we have an awesome professional services team that really rounds out the experience.
