  • They have merged two labs into one for me
  • They have added more labs for me as my institution has them locked
  • They have told me how i am unable to change bulk access times and have to go into each person to change

  • Request tracking, numbering: LabVantage provides a unique number to each request, which makes requests easy to track and refer to.
  • Web-enabled: we can link to LabVantage requests and attachments from other systems.
  • Single Sign-On: users can use their network username/password to login to LabVantage

  • Visibility on inventory
  • Instructor being able to edit equipment added by others
  • Maintenance repeat booking being able to edit separate dates

  • Develop LVConnect interfaces with more instruments that is universal and easy to use

Alternatives Considered
Clustermarket was all that was available to us at the time and I believe there is still nothing more suitable other than Microsoft bookings but I prefer Clustermarket.

We didn’t really have choice to use any other system. We probably would be able to better serve our customers with an issue tracking or help desk system.
