CloudApper Safety vs. Intelex

CloudApper Safety is well suited for organizations that want to maintain or simplify OSHA recordkeeping on a budget. It helps you keep everything required in the cloud so that when inspectors come, you can just show that you have all the required documents at hand--reducing compliance issues down the line. CloudApper Safety isn't suited for someone who thinks that this app will do everything for you and ensure safety by itself--you need to work on it too! It's an OSHA recordkeeping tool, it doesn't ensure workplace safety magically--it needs input from you.

I would caution colleagues to make sure the system does what they need it to do and get it all in writing.

• The UI can be improved a bit, no biggie.

• Implementation process is very difficult unless you are using the product out of the box
• Licensing model is frustrating but they are willing to be flexible to make things work

We just upgrade the document control application from V5 to V6. There are still quite a bit of issues left unresolved.

We felt Intelex was more user friendly and provided the services we were seeking in a system. We evaluated all applications vs. our company needs and wants.
