CloudApper Fleet is very much applicable for those who seek budget-friendly solutions. Small logistics companies are mostly recommended to have CloudApper Fleet as their tracking software. For those who look for a completely on-premise software solution, CloudApper Fleet will be a less recommended fit for them. CloudApper is a cloud-based platform that provides mobile-friendly enterprise application solutions.

When a company wants a single platform that handles all security scanning and evaluation. I would also suggest to a small to medium-sized company that wants a patch management and security vulnerability tool that isn't going to break the bank.

Cons

  • Their agentless patch management could offer realtime status of when a patch fails, or completes.
  • Their 3rd party patching inventory could be larger.
  • Patches that are released should be vetted prior to release unless its a critical or important patch.

The Support zteam for GFI was with us all the way through, and I believe that they had the best support team of all the products that we use and/or tested.

Alternatives Considered
CloudApper Fleet does not charge per vehicle. It rather charges on per user basis, which makes it great value for your money. It provides all the necessary features that a fleet service provider needs. Additionally, it's a no-code platform which makes it very easily customizable. They also offer a 14-day free trial.

  • GFI Systems does save us a lot of time and makes it very convenient to manage clients. Remote access usually works well.
  • For our business GFI Systems is a bit expensive. The total cost is like hiring a full time employee.
  • It would be nice if the backup function was more robust and better thought out. Until then, we are seeking another service for our client's backup needs.
