Clever vs. Procare

We really love Clever. The use with students is paramount to ensure quick, easy, safe access. Whether a large or small district, it is worth the investment to help increase student access to technology.

It's good for monitoring and communication, but is very clunky when it comes to billing. It's nice that all messages for a student come up in the same conversation, but it would be nice if I could send message to only Administration or only room staff and also receive notification that my message has been read.

I like Clever better because I can have all of my most used websites there and my students don’t have to guess where they need to go or worry about misspelling a website's name.

We have used Sandbox, which was bought out by Procare and will become obsolete. The program had many good features, but in most ways we find that Procare has surpassed Sandbox. The interface as a staff person is very user-friendly, messages are more easily sent to parents, and parents have found this simple to navigate as well
