Celigo vs. frends eiPaaS by HiQ

If you need to connect NetSuite to some other platform or application, you should reach for Celigo. It is a true Integration Platform. I can write code and build integrations from scratch, but they will never be as solid as what Celigo already has built. Also, Celigo gives non-developers superpowers. In NetSuite, it can be used as an alternative to SuiteScripting.

Hybrid Integrations: Organizations operating with a combination of on-premises and cloud applications will find frends particularly valuable. Its hybrid integration capabilities ensure seamless data flow between these diverse environments. Both for scheduled integrations that are triggered regularly or for event and API-based integrations. High volume of simple integrations: the pricing model is not tied to the number of integrations like in many competing products.

• Previewing data transformations and scripts in real time
• Ability to retry data and manage errors when something goes wrong
• Pre built apps for quick implementation

• It has been very stable and reliable over time
• The developer tools are simple to use
• It offers out of the box tasks/activities for typical routine tasks

• Documentation has gotten better over the years, but could improve.
• Marketing efforts could be greater. Its a terrific product that people should know about
• More webinars could be helpful to show how folks are saving time and money.

There is a bit of a learning curve, but not bad. Once you get a flow or two under your belt, there will be no stopping you. You will start to see possibilities and ways to apply automation and integration throughout your business. It becomes fun to look for additional ways to save money, time, and improve accuracy

Celigo handles errors much much better. Celigo stores templates all in one place making them much easier to find. Celigo interacts with your database as you are working allowing you to pull picklist values right from your db Celigo does not upsert large datasets as quickly and can take quite some time

frends does not have as broad functionality but it's lightweight and easy to use and has enough features for most integration needs. For example the frends API Management exists but it does not offer lot of options. frends might not be the choice for the largest enterprises but for small and mid sized organizations it does everything you will probably need. They have also recently improved their training materials to help new developers get on board.

• Pricing model suites us very well as it is not tied to number of integrations or users. It's much more economic than most well-known competitors
• The stability of the service is crucial and has served as well. We run hundreds of processes on the platform daily and they are really important for other operations.
