CB Insights vs. Dropbox DocSend

Transparency - we were reading a lot of hype about Bitcoin, and it was in every market sector. Those of us who remember 2001, were alarmed. But digging through to find the truth was a challenge. CB Insights provided regular, extensive data every week, more often at the peak. We are certain our own analysis was correct based on that and stopped worrying that we might have missed a market opportunity.

It's super great for sharing sales collateral, investor pitch slide decks, and other one-time viewing content. It's mainly built for sales but has been a huge benefit as a small startup. It best for PDF content that is okay to be horizontally oriented and scrolled (e.g. the forward and back buttons are on the side of the viewing interface).

Our organization previously used ClearSlide but switched to DocSend as a cost savings. It was not made clear during the sales process that DocSend does not natively possess audio conferencing or screen-share capabilities. We had to add on the join.me integration after the fact, which has not worked well. When our contract is up with DocSend we will be moving back to ClearSlide

• Positive in both volume and detail of the most relevant information upon which to make key strategic decisions.
• It's not an inexpensive service, but worth the price given the accuracy, timeliness and criticality of the information they are able to provide.
• Strategy - strategy - strategy! There's no way anyone could gather that much intelligence in just one stop with any other service.
