Recruitment Marketing
Comparison of Recruitment Marketing features of Product A and Product B
If I could give them a zero, I would. In my experience, CareerBuilder.com literally took thousands of my hard-earned dollars ($5K) for NOTHING in return! You would think that since CareerBuilder.com could literally see that it was not producing the results promised, it would have considered releasing me from the contract or lowering the cost, in my opinion, but CareerBuilder.com made sure they collected every penny from me with zero consideration for customer satisfaction and failed to deliver the applicants. That told me everything I needed to know about CareerBuilder.com and how they really feel about customers. In my opinion, CareerBuilder.com primary focus is to get customers on the hook with a contract to legally guarantee they receive their money from you, but they can care less about the results their platform produces or customer satisfaction, “they just want your money”! I firmly believe CareerBuilder.com knows that their product does not work, hence the reason for the 1 yr contract is to basically guarantee company revenue for an entire year.
The job types (full time, contract, part time etc.) help to easily distinguish between different types of job postings, and the jobs are filtered based on the job types. The most recent job or openings are displayed on top which helps the job aspirants to apply to the most recent ones. The salary calculator app helps to understand better the salary applicable for the position and the experience.
Functionality can be more user-friendly for beginners.
More options to integrate with other platforms and Applicant Tracking Systems
Make it easier to create candidate lists, and send mass emails--while this feature is available, CareerBuilder.com does not make it easy for users to perform these tasks.
Add an option for the user to be notified when candidates in saved folders have removed their resume or are no longer available.
Although the sorting process is easy through SimplyHired when you check candidates to send a message, it un-checks them after the message is sent, so you have to go back through and re-check all applicants to move them. I'd like to have the candidates remain checked and highlighted after I send them a message.
It would be great to have messages sent out automatically once we move them into new categories.
CareerBuilder.com is average in terms of overall usability. I am able to post my positions and figure the site out. However, finding out how many additional options you are is not something easily accessible. If you don't know where to look, you may not be able to find or know how many "boosts" you have to use for the month.
I have had a positive experience with CareerBuilder's support. When the platform has been updated throughout the years, CareerBuilder's account managers have always provided our team with helpful live tutorials and demonstrations to help familiarize our users with new and upcoming features, as well as older features that will no longer be offered. Support team makes themselves available on an ongoing basis.
I am a big fan of the services provided in SimplyHired. I have no reservations recommending this product to any HR department that is looking for new avenues to explore in attracting candidates.
I do not think that CareerBuilder.com is a very good job posting site. It does not provide you with quality applicants like some other products I have used. Not only does it provide a low number of candidates, the ones we do get to tend to be repeat applicants or are not qualified at all.
SimplyHired is almost neck in neck with ZipRecruiter, but overall it stands out in the number of applicants it obtains. I do think that trends come and go, and there could come a time when ZipRecruiter is the best place for applicants, but until we see a decline on SimplyHired, we don't plan to invest elsewhere.
