This tool proves invaluable in grasping the landscape of market participants and their interactions. It enables us to conduct comprehensive market research, equipping us with the knowledge we need to make informed decisions. While it excels in providing insights into the volume flow within the market, it may fall short when it comes to pricing or the value of trades. Nonetheless, its ability to decipher market players and dynamics remains a strong asset for our business. We can rely on this tool to navigate the market terrain and gain a competitive edge.

• Great data on Suppliers and Manufacturers
• Easy connect to all the platforms manufacturer is on for product portfolio
• PowerQuery tool lets you export for further analysis

• The scope and depth of the collected data can be increased.
• The UI with little icons and buttons may be difficult at first but may become intuitive. The UI isn't horrible but might be better.
• Global data coverage, but US and UK markets have the greatest details. MENA and APAC lack.

• Wish the ability to download I information was available
• Wish their was an availability to search by category (ie copper cookware; cutlery etc
• Being able to more easily see who else a supplier manufactures work with as helps you understand quality being produced

S&P CIQ Pro has great data, however, the new pro version is currently difficult to use given how slow the data is to process

After posting this (previously positive) review, all communication stopped from ImportYeti's side. Updating the review to reflect this.

We had Capital IQ in addition to Bloomberg. It was much easier for a new person to use Capital IQ than Bloomberg. The ease of use was a huge selling point for us. Yahoo finance on the other hand is free, but you cannot gather all the data you may need in one location like you can in Capital IQ.

ImportYeti is aimed for simplicity and cost effective solution. Many of its competitors provide a wide range of solutions, with a much greater price point. If you need a complete range of solutions, you may consider other options. ImportYeti is great in its scope, for querying the information regarding US imports. Is structured and really easy to use.

• S&P Capital IQ contributes to a more comprehensive analysis of companies when making decisions on how best to market them to potential buyers.
• S&P Capital IQ has enabled my company to be more efficient in learning about and valuing companies.
