CanIRank vs. UpCity

I think CanIRank is great for any business that wants to improve its Search Engine Optimize, get more traffic, and create a healthier website and user experience. If you're feeling stagnant with your traffic growth or need help getting more visibility, they can help. I'd note that this is for businesses that are making money or that have expendable cashflow, as, while it is a great value, it also isn't cheap.

• The way UpCity verifies items in your marketing checklist (like whether you have social accounts, you're on Google, etc,) helps my business, and others, save precious time having to manually verify them yourself.

• The "about" and "how to" section on tasks makes it very clear how to accomplish each task.

Usability is mediocre: They have a dashboard to track things but they have some antiquated system of ranking companies and don’t tell you what the logic is behind it. You also have no way to combat negative ratings or respond and try to correct them.

Their team is helping me to improve my website SEO, traffic, and user experience. We've already gotten a number of pages/posts to rank on Page #1 of Google, and have helped me to address a number of backend issues, including site speed. I love having a knowledgeable team helping me to reach my goals, especially since I don't particularly like doing the technical side of things!

I received little help from customer service rep, Sarah. She told me I should speak to a manager to “reset my expectations”. Apparently, all the sales promises of more traffic and increase SEO were an issue with my expectations, and not the company failing to deliver.
