Butter vs. Gather Town

I have a very good experience with Butter. First of all, its User Interface is very nice and very functional. There are very few meeting tools that have such attractive UI. In the Room section, I mostly like the reactions and soundboard. Besides, it has all the necessary options like notes, a toolbox, and an agenda.

i personally use the web page so it's 100% more comfortable because i don't need to have so much applications open, plus i can rapidly silence the page if i need.I can share screen, documents, have a video call very easily with any people if i want because if the space is free i can only share a URL and that person can access to the world in Gather Town

• Butter works as a platform for virtual meeting or workshops.
• It provides the integration with most of the tools like Miro and Google Drive, pools, video, and so on.
• It works fine with low bandwidth internet.
• It also provide nice recap of meeting or workshop.

• The chat history sometimes erase itself
• sometimes the application become laggy randomly
• the output lag when one member start to sharing the screen
• The integration with google calendar doesn't detect all the meets even when refresh it or re-link the service

All of the software, I have used previously, has a very boring user interface. Most of them are pretty basic in look and feel. Even they have a few integrations with the other third-party tools. But Butter has a very pretty look and feel with all the necessary tools and functions. I think it is fun to meet with Butter.

- Free tier option

- Although all meet applications share the same functionalities, I can use gather quickly and easily. Only from a browser tab and anyone with that link can access my space.

- If security is required, you can count on blocking spaces so that unauthorized people do not enter.

- There is a conversation history and any documents can be sent in that chat

• Considerable money savings since it has a free tier option
• When required, a space for more than 100 people is contracted and we can canceled immediately.
• social events have been carried out virtually thanks to this tool
