Broadcom Clarity vs. GenSight Enterprise Portfolio Management

GenSight Enterprise Portfolio Management is a great tool when you need to collect and control the project data within an organization. The system is useful in almost all cases except when a business is routinely changing (> 1x a year). It can be hard to keep up with the terminology and linkages. In these cases I am not sure of any software that if always useful. The GenSight staff will undoubtedly assist you in building flexibility.

• The system offers easy system navigation and creation of custom reports.
• The system allows a multitude of project related fact fields enabling a comprehensive understanding of project standing
• The staff is fantastic at working with the clients to make the system as useful as possible.

• Updates to Resource Requirements & Financial Model based on changes to Project Start and Launch Dates
• Flexibility for Portfolio Admins to change attributes
• Flexibility to run ad-hoc reports and integration to visualization tools

GenSight was better suited for Integra and was easier to implement.

• We have been able to maximize the value of our Portfolio by enabling better visibility to programs across divisions and franchises
• We have ensured that we are working on the right number of programs by ensuring a balance between cross-functional resources required and available.
