Breezy HR vs. InterviewStream Hire

Working with many employees at the same time would be the perfect scenario to let us test all the potential that the Breezy HR platform has to offer, since its organizational capacity is large enough to be able to organize and coordinate the attendance and absence information of many workers without losing track of the job. Reviewing documents where data is needed about each employee's behavior, including their daily attendance hours, tracking of all the absences they have taken since starting at the company, and comments about their potential, which would be excellent for reporting during promotional seasons. The management of many employee lists through database services, which thanks to the platform's adaptation to cover external service software operations such as Microsoft Excel, means that it is possible to import employee databases when moving information from a storage platform.

I always recommend this product to companies of all sizes who are looking for a reliable way to add virtual interviewing to their assessment strategy. There are 50+ vendors in this space right now but none of them have been around as long as InterviewStream. Their product is especially good for high volume scenarios but we've used it for all levels from executives down to hourly employees. We even used it internally for succession planning interviews and internal mobility

• Organization. It provided an incredible way to streamline applicants and their place in the process. With a strong search capability, you can find anyone no matter where they are in the process. And you can see if they've applied elsewhere in your company.
• User friendliness. Not everyone understands technology. Even more so when web programs are involved. I am well versed in programs like these, and did a lot of vetting before making our purchase, so training came easy. It also - to our happiness - came easily to people who've never seen these programs. Breezy was there to help with the issues we had understanding; however, we didn't need them much because the interface was just that easy.
• Options. They have third party integrations, and are willing to open to more. They want to make their program useful in more than one way. Breezy crew worked with us to link to our HRIS system. They also have a great many integrations that are relevant to any small business (we are not small, but this would be a great choice for a small company just starting out and seeking to understand what they need).

• Simple interface. It's not a flashy product with claims of artificial intelligence or machine learning, etc. It just gets the job done for a fair price.
• Reliable. While we have had some minor issues from time-to-time with live interviews, the recorded interviews have worked fine in several countries around the world.
• Support. Our customer success person was always available and helpful.

• Their calendar functionality is pretty clunky. For example, I am able to use the platform to easily propose times to multiple candidates, but it doesn't mark the option as unavailable once the candidate has booked the time. This has led me to be double-booked on multiple occasions. (We now just use a Calendly link).
• You're able to create a careers web page that automatically lists open jobs through Breezy, which is nice, but the customization is incredibly limited.
• While you can manage your whole hiring funnel from Breezy, it lacks the automation and other functions of some of the high dollar platforms.
• Breezy doesn't offer any templates or suggestions with how to build your funnel, so I can imagine that many customers miss out on functionality that could help streamline their workflow. I think they could really benefit from some 'getting started' suggestions and guides.

• Reporting could be better. Would love to see more stats around where our users are dropping off, invited vs. completed metrics and ROI numbers as well.

It's no fuss and does what we need at a very reasonable price, so I can't imagine why I'd switch.

Me ayuda muchisimo es 100% redituable todos los días trabajo con breezy y ahi puedo programar entrevistas enviar y ver reporte de evaluaciones administrar la bolsa de empleo sin duda es muy completo y muy funcional. Todos podemos interactuar con un candidato y de acuerdo a los permisos involucrarnos, los candidatos estan en seguimeinto gracias a correos programados.

The support is very frustrating. They don't research any issues and give you explanations that don't make sense, don't solve the issue, and don't make them seem trustworthy. The service levels are the most frustrating part of Breezy. The company gets defensive and upset if you tell them there's something in their software that needs to be fixed. It's constant and it's so exhausting to deal with them and their emotions. It's bizarre and it's so unprofessional.

It was really easy to get up and running, and the few questions I did have were answered nearly immediately via the in-app chat.

I liked that Breezy HR had an option to try it out before we committed. I also preferred the User interface of Breezy HR to other options we looked into. The pricing was very attractive as well. Plus it included more features than most competitors we demo-ed did

We looked at several video interview companies when we made a purchase decision. With the exception of HireVue, they're all about the same. We just went with InterviewStream because they had the most experience in the industry and their pricing was fair. HireVue is a premium product who tries to distance themselves from the video interview space by claiming that they are a collaboration/training tool or an AI assessment tool. They're wayyyy overpriced for what they offer if you just want video interviewing. And their sales process is high pressure and a little bit slimy to be honest. If you need a proven tool that has been around, InterviewStream is good.

• Breezy HR has cut our recruitment work load by about 30%. Breezy HR automates a lot of the process and cuts out a ton of manual work. This has allowed our recruiters to focus on the more important parts of the process thus resulting in higher quality hires.

• We took a 7 step interview process in one of our high volume areas down to 3 steps. This saved 2 weeks in time to hire and increased our conversion rate with top candidates by 20% (presumably because we moved faster).
• We saved $100,000 minimum in travel expenses in the first year. We don't know the exact amount because much of these costs are hidden in the business, but we could track at least $100k in hard costs.
• Negatively, I'd say we lost a little bit of street credibility on sites like glassdoor where people would vent that they didn't like recorded video interviews. Over time that feedback dwindled as this strategy has been adopted by more companies.
