  • Collaboration with team members, clients and partners who spread out across the globe is made simple by Bluejeans meeting. As an Application developer it is easier for me to collaborate with people from various cultures and time zones so this is very important.
  • For code review , it plays an excellent role, it enables real time screen sharing and code discussion among my team, this facilitate quicker and more effective bug detection and correction.
  • Pair programming is a great use for it. It make possible for two programmers to collaborate on same code even when they are not physically near to each other.

GoTo has been fantastic for office and remote work. No matter where our people are in the world, they can be reached by DID or extension through the phone or computer apps. When an employee is out, his line can be forwarded easily from the local phone or apps and can be forwarded to multiple numbers if necessary. The forwarding can be turned off just as easily. The only challenge there is that if it is forwarded from the local phone, it can not be adjusted remotely. This is not a big deal unless you need to keep your office locked but are not using the app find me/follow me feature.

  • Bluejeans' ability to record meetings would be beneficial for future references like If I ever needed to revisit a discussion or training sessions, I could access the recorded content, eliminating the need to take extensive notes during meeting.
  • Calendar program and messaging services are just a couple of the productivity and collaboration tools that Bluejeans frequently integrates with, scheduling of meeting and team members communication would become more efficient as a result.
  • Typically, bluejeans provides mobile app, making it usable on tables and smartphone, this enables me to take part in a meeting even if I am not near a computer system.

  • Voicemail options: Availability to create some voicemail with multiple receptors
  • Devices option: with several options to change on your devices

  • I prefer using Bluejeans web browser version but it lack many features which are there in their Desktop App version, which is really disappointing.

  • Making a dedicated button for "mute all" (other than yourself) for when someone "walks off before they mute"/has to quickly leave their computer....and FORGOT to Mute. Particularly when dogs are barking when someone working from home has a visitor at the door
  • I'd like to see some of the functionality from GoTo Webinar enabled for GoTo Connect: see who's "actively watching" vs has their computer screen on another application

I have used many other competing platforms platforms; however, despite the fact that BlueJeans lacks certain features others offer, familiarity, ease of use, and several things BlueJeans does better than others mean that I will stick to BlueJeans. Further, whenever I have faced a problem, I have found BlueJeans support excellent overall; no lengthy wait to understand and resolve an issue. Good product, great support, BOTH TESTED OVER TIME; I do not have an incentive to move to another platform.

They are knocking it out of the park on all fronts. I love the service and support I am receiving and have no complaints. If they raised their prices substantially I would reconsider but I don't think that will happen anytime soon. They would have to mess up something consistently moving forward to make me want to move

I don't have much experience of joining a meeting from an attendee of someone else's. As for joining a meeting I've created, it's very easy. For recurring meetings, I find the meeting in my list, and if it's near the time to start, there will be a "Join" button, and I just push that. After that, it gives me the options for joining -- video, audio, phone, screen share only. It remembers my previous choices, so mostly I just can click by that. As for attendees joining, there do seem to be connection problems from time to time and people have to log off and come back on, but we had that trouble with GoToMeeting also. Being able to mute attendees is much better in BlueJeans. When we had GoToMeeting, I constantly had problems with people joining by phone incorrectly, such that they didn't even show up in the meeting list and thus I couldn't mute them when needed.

Overall, it's a decent product for the price. It has the basic features our company needed when it was brand new and was not overly difficult to set up. As we've grown, it's become increasingly difficult to build out the features we want to implement within the PBX, and customer support can be less than helpful. Many of the more advanced features (dial plans, queues, etc.) take a lot of research to understand how to implement. Some of the features we paid for weren't even available when we were attempting to set them up.

I have never experienced or heard of unplanned outages when it comes to GoTo Connect. Most of the time the unplanned outage is always local power at a site or internet service provider having an unplanned outage. GoTo's service has never failed any of our orgs yet that I know of.

This has been a continual issue with our organization. We are a IP/H323 infrastructure so we integrate BlueJeans via the IP/H323 connections to the cloud. We still have inconsistent results with calls. Some work without issue and some calls are horribly choppy and at times freeze. There is no lag in phone calls. There is no background noise or static/fuzz. Calls are crystal clear. With other dialers and phone systems, I have experienced delays between dialogue or delays with the caller picking up the phone and then being able to hear you. We do not experience this with Go To Connect.

In all these years, there has been ONE instance when a problem I pointed out (with screenshots, no less) was DENIED. That apart, though there have been a few instances where there has been a delay in resolution (more to do with offering new features), I have NEVER felt frustrated about help not being on hand when I needed it most.

Support used to be great when it was Jive support out of Utah. Now that they've offshored support it can be difficult to get a response. Our most common issues are least cost routing, and we run into support pushing back in stead of just figuring out which upstream carrier is having an issue like they used to. We often have to get our account manager involved, who is pretty strong.

This would help our user base so that they can feel impowered to look up information that they need without having to ask our admins every time they have a question about the system. One big lesson we learned is that training the team well makes a huge difference. It was easier when we started with the fundamental features, such as the way calls are handled. Getting staff involved early helped us set it up the right way. So I would say my experience with implementation was straightforward.

Select Blujeans Meetings because it allows me to better convey my ideas and at the same time build trust through real-time videoconferences. As well as sharing documents and presentations via screen sharing, I love the option to record play and then share the recording to colleagues who couldn't attend is what's needed.

Avaya IP Office was for us a complicated and inflexible on-prem solution. It could be made to do a great many things similar to GoTo, however it was not flexible and scalable in the same way as GoTo, which is to be expected of a cloud solution. In particular, as we aimed to build out a contact center, IP office could not do it in a work-from-anywhere environment, and the softphone provided almost no information to the agent. GoTo solved all of the problems we were encountering with IP office, with the added benefit of not needing continously upgrading licensing - as GoTo is a one-license solution.

I believe BlueJeans is easy to scale, but we have a different business model that requires a more central scheduling need. Most vendors operate on an enterprise wide environment with a one to one licensing. We have a centralized group of video administrators and schedulers that do the majority of the scheduling for multiple departments. Because we are a centralized scheduling group we need shared access to on schedule not multiple users delegating access to one another. I.E. if I have 5 schedulers, under the current licensing they would each have individual accounts and delegating those accounts to one another. So when receiving a support call they have to search 5 individual schedules to make changes to meetings. This I think is a valid need even for smaller businesses that just have a few schedulers for the rest of the groups. It would be easier if it scaled within the individual accounts

Its not readily apparent to me, other than cost, where you would run into any issues with larger scale deployments. When we went live on the product, the Jive team was always willing to do mass updates for us on our extensions, users, etc. in the system, so we didn't have to do too much manual one-by-one updates.

  • All-Hands meetings were improved to feel less like a prerecorded video show and more like an actual conversation using BlueJeans.
  • Client meetings remained smooth in the transition to working-from-home with easy video calling and scheduling.
  • These were the main points that helped my department, as I am unfamiliar with how BlueJeans was implemented in external sales uses, but I imagine it was equally helpful for meetings when in-person was not available.

  • To combine SMS and call answering by one of many individuals and voicemail recordings with voice to text in their emails has allowed us to give substantially better customer service to our customers.
  • We used to host our own hardware, but since going with GoTo Connect we no longer dread a piece of equipment going bad or keep a full spare in reserve. This has saved us money and our sanity.
